Numerical differentiation from a viewpoint of regularization theory
In this paper, we discuss the classical ill-posed problem of numerical differentiation, assuming that the smoothness of the function to be differentiated is unknown. Using recent results on adaptive regularization of general ill-posed problems, we propose new rules for the choice of the stepsize in the finite-difference methods, and for the regularization parameter choice in numerical different...
Lattice electromagnetic theory from a topological viewpoint
The language of differential forms and topological concepts are applied to study classical electromagnetic theory on a lattice. It is shown that differential forms and their discrete counterparts ~cochains! provide a natural bridge between the continuum and the lattice versions of the theory, allowing for a natural factorization of the field equations into topological field equations ~i.e., inv...
متن کاملskopos theory and translating strategies of csis in translaed literary texts from english into persian
abstract translation has become a cultural act which plays a significant role in human life. with the emergence of functional translation theories, and skopos theory in particular, translation has been considered as a purposeful, interpersonal and intercultural activity which is produced for particular recipients and directed by a specific purpose. this purpose determines the translatio...

Scaling and Spiral Equivalence from a Numerical Viewpoint
The non-iterative numerical solution of nonlinear boundary value problems is a subject of great interest. This paper is concerned with the theory of non-iterative transformation methods. These methods are defined within group invariance theory. We prove the equivalence between two non-iterative transformation methods defined by the scaling group and the spiral group, respectively.
